SHooting Star Saloon:
Located across the street and one down from the Valley House, this historic gem boasts the oldest continuously operating bar in Utah. Besides a small selection of beers, you can enjoy a variety of hamburgers with chips. It is cash only but they do have an ATM.

hANKS bISTRO:
Hanks Bistro & Brew combines the best of American-style comfort food with family-inspired recipes and fresh, high quality ingredients. Their menu features signature smash burgers, pizza, steak sandwiches, and flavorful bowls. ( 15 minutes from the Valley House )

Carlos & Harley's:
Located in Eden, this Tex-Mex cantina is known for its vibrant atmosphere and dishes like molcajete and poblano salmon. They also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options (10 minutes from the Valley House)
Hours: Call ahead for hours as they have changed management and hours may be affected
Mad Moose Cafe:
Known for its cozy setting and specialty coffee, Mad Moose serves a variety of food, including burgers and paninis. The cafe is highly praised for its welcoming atmosphere and fresh food prepared in front of customers (15 minutes from the Valley house)

Peddlers Cafe:
Situated near Powder Mountain, Peddlers Café serves homemade breakfast and lunch, along with specialty coffees and teas. They also serve delicious smoothies and desserts in a beautiful setting with views of the mountains (15 minutes from the Valley House)

Ogden Valley Pizza:
This place has the most delicious pizzas! There is outdoor seating which is fun in the summer. They also sponsor Saturday night concerts for a fun, lively atmosphere while enjoying your pizza. You are always welcome to bring the pizza back to the house and eat it in the dining room. (About 12 minutes from the Valley House Inn)
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm
The Oaks:
One of the greatest locations as it sits right on the river in Ogden canyon. It has been closed for a few years but it just recently opened under new management. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but I’m looking forward to visiting soon.

Timbermine:
Family owned steak place with a mining theme at the base of Ogden canyon. Very reasonably priced for top quality steaks. They can accommodate large groups too. Must have eight people in your party to make a reservation.
Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm
